Environmental science investigations
include greenhouse gas and sea level
rise, properties of minerals, quality of
surface waters, animal behavior,
and much more.
Environmental science investigations in this series include greenhouse gas and sea level rise, properties of minerals, quality of surface waters, animal behavior, and many more. This series gives students a solid foundation in introductory college environmental science. Each hands-on investigation in the series has learning outcomes for students to master, such as describe the general process microbes use to break down oil; list the conditions necessary for the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium to occur; and explain the causes of increased carbon emissions and their likely effect on global climate. All Environmental Science Series kits include a Starter Pack that contains safety supplies and equipment required throughout the investigations. The Distance Learning Microscope may also be included depending on the investigations you select.
